Question

My ex husband bought clothing for our daughter while she was staying with him for the weekend. It was not a need. She has clothes but now he is telling me that he is deducting the amount he spent on the clothes plus the cost of food for the weekend from child support. Can he deduct what he spent from the support he pays to me? There is nothing stated about this in our Divorce settlement.

Answer

Of course not. Have your lawyer send him a warning letter, and, if he continues to violate the court order, sue him for contempt.
