I got involved with a pyschic and lost nearly a million dolllars. My fiance killed himself and she said she could save him from hell and reincarnate him and fix my life. I gave her the money august of 2009. her phone disconnected this morning. Do I need an attorney or a private investigator and can I get one on contingent? Thank you for your time and consideration

I think I would probably first find out whether the psychic has the ability to pay any judgment that you might be able to win in court.

This is not a case that I would take on a contingency fee basis as there's a level of gullability that is likely to make it difficult to win. As noted above collection is going to be difficult or impossible especially if the psychic has simply picked up, left and spent all your money.

I think I would contact the police and/or FBI and make a criminal complaint against the psychic.
