My employer is making some threats of disciplinary action (write ups, or more) regarding situations that are not in an employees control. It has gotten out of hand in the last few weeks or so where it's become uncomfortable to work there. It seems to the point of harassment. I've been there 19 years so it's not like I just started. Add to the situation that my boss lies and tells other co-employees and Supervisors something different than what he tells me. Then he will deny it and say he never said it. I'm just about at the end of my rope. Can I draw unemployment if I'm harassed out of my job?
Answer
You'd have to file for unemployment, be denied and win an appeal, I should think, to collect on the basis of constructive termination.
