Question

Hi, I have a shared driveway in NJ. The paving was worn down and we had it removed at our expense and are prepared to repave (stones prepared so ready for pour). Our neighbor, a landlord rarely seen who does little on his own property, now says his opposes asphalt, preferring a more expensive stone. But he's not offering to pay anything. Can I have the driveway repaved (again at my expense) over his objection?

Answer

you may want to talk to a lawyer and get some advice. you may be able to make him pay a portion of this. maybe.
