Question

In regards to one party (Attorney of Respondent) preparing the Court Order and serving it to me (Petitioner and Self-Represented Litigant), whether I approve or reject and prepare an alternate proposed order. When I serve.......do I serve with Sheriff to Attorney as I have previously or can I just mail it Certified Return Receipt?

Answer

You need to have someone over the age of 18 who is not a party to the action mail your proposals and then sign your proof of service. You cannot serve documents because you are a party to the case.

Answer

The question is not whether you approve of the order or not. Rather the question is whether the order accurately states what the judge ordered from the bench.
