My brother in law left a will that was finalized in Los Angeles on Jan. 10, 2013. I was notified when he died & was aware of all, however is there a statue of limitations that prevents me from doing something about this now?

If probate is complete and the court has issued an order for final distribution, etc., then it's over if you are past the 60 day period during which you may file an appeal after the date of the court's final order.
