Question

When my mother lived in Michigan, she had her Will made by an attorney friend. The attorney died a few years ago, and my mother now lives in Delaware with another family member. She is 87 and in poor health. Is her Will null and void because the original attorney died?

Answer

The death of an attorney does not affect the validity of a will the attorney drafted. If the will still reflects her wishes and was valid when drafted it is likely still a valid document.
