I have been divorced 6 yrs. now, and my Ex and I opted to have the Round Rock School District be the primary residence for my 2 daughters. My Ex and I live about 3 miles away from each other for the past 6 years. I am finally moving out of my house for the past 15 years. When looking for the house that we are purchasing we found this one in Round Rock only 9mins. away from my old house and when we looked at the school boundary lines the map showed up within the Round Rock School District. So we looked at house fell in love with it. My girls fell in love with it for the security features (because they are huge scaredy cats). Well upon closer look we discovered that the house in not in the Round Rock School District, but our house backs right up to the boundary line (we are literally right on top of it but not in it) Now my Ex is saying that we will not be getting the house because we are outside the Round Rock School District and she wants to take me to court and find me in contempt of court and file for Primary Residency. We both have joint custody of my daughters, they are with each of us 50% of the time. What I need to know is can she keep up from getting this house (which I know is in the best interest of my daughters, due to the security reasons). Can she get primary residency? and can she revisit the divorce decree and try and get child support from me (which neither of us has ever paid to the other) and can she try and limit my visitation with my daughters if she gets primary residency? This has completely tainted what should be a truly happy experience for my wife now of 5 years my son who is 3 and my daughters. Like I said we are backed up right against the Round Rock ISD school District Boundary. I am trying to find some peace of mind here, instead of doom and gloom.... Help please...

Hire a local lawyer to file a motion to modify the geographic restriction in the decree.
