If your employer tells you that your pants are too tight, is that harassment?

Question

If your employer tells you that your pants are too tight, is that harassment?

Answer

Sexual harassment must be pervasive and offensive. It cannot occur just once.

Your employer may have stated that your pants were too tight based on a complaint from a customer or for other business reasons.

If the comments continue about your clothes or other appearance you should file a complaint with the Human Resources Department.

You should also inquire whether other employees have been subjected to the type of comment you were subjected.
