I was granted 20% in a home sale profit in a divorce decree...no other stipulations/attachments. Now in escrow for, I believe, $450,000; she is claiming in excess of $100,000 personal money's in improvements. She claims I will be getting only $40,000 as result. I am more than suspicious, but, is there reason to believe she is right?

In general there is no reason to trust an Ex when there's money involved. With the amount of money involved, you to take your papers to an attorney for an in person review and consultation.
