Question

My son is 4 years old. His father left before he turned a month old and has not seen him since. I remained in contact with him until sometime last year. I had tried to get him to see his child but he has refused. He has a new child now. Can i strip him of his parental rights?

Answer

Unless there is a danger to the child or there is an adoptive parent waiting, few chancellors in Mississippi will terminate parental rights. However you can restrict visitation and receive support
