Question

If I have a separation notice from work that states the reason I was fired from a job and I applied for unemployment benefits but my last employer says I was fired for another reason other the reason given on paper to the unemployment office do I have a case

Answer

A case for what? You need to apply for unemployment, and if the employer contests it a hearing is held before a hearing officer. You can then state your case and the hearing officer will make a decision.
