If my 18 year old leaves (moves out on her own) what rights does she have to come back for things she left?
Answer
If the things were gifts to her and or inherited, they belong to her.
If you purchased them, they belong to you. She can only take them if you allow her to do so.
Change the locks and the alarm code.
Also, don't be surprised if your home gets broken into soon & stuff gets stolen. I've seen his happen many times. She'll have her friends break into the house to "punish" you. So prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
