First time misdemeanor. My record is clean. Nothing bad at all. The charge is the false report to peace officer. I don't want to go to jail. Is it possible to pay a fine?

It may not be possible to just pay a fine but it may be possible to avoid jail. What you need is a good lawyer. I don't know where you are in the proceedings but if you don't already have a lawyer you should hire one immediately. Most criminal defense attorneys will give you an initial consultation for free. You might interview a couple if you have time and find the best fit. Your local bar association may be able to give you a referral if you don't know any criminal defense attorney or perhaps one of your friends may know a criminal defense attorney.
