Question

i have a durable poa that was done before my parent was disabled and now the courts want to sell her assets. how can i stop that, can they over ride the poa?

Answer

It sounds as if the Court may have appointed a Conservatorship for your parent. Yes, the Court Orders will over ride the Power of Attorney. If you are concerned, then consult with an attorney specializing in Conservatorship litigation.
