How long can someone go without making a payment on a vehicle I cosigned on the loan before I can reposess the vehicle.
Answer
Such a person can continue in his or her nonpayment status as long as you
continue to make the payments due on this vehicle but only the lender
rather than you has a right to repossess the vehicle should such payments
cease since your ownership status with respect to this vehicle as a cosigner is not superior to that of the primary borrower merely because you've been
making these payments (my opinion).
