my elderly friend owns a home he went to mexico for 2 months when he came home his daughter put the home in her name and is now sending him some papers saying notice of trustee sale he signed no papers nor gave her permission to do this these papers are in a language he cant read did she do something illegal and what can we do

The only way to transfer title is with a deed signed by an owner of an interest in the property or a court order. It sounds like something was either forged, or someone used a power of attorney to do something they were not supposed to do. Your elderly friend needs to talk to a competent real estate attorney, immediately.
