I recently had a security system installed. With the system I had a video camera installed as well. The system came with an app for my smart phone to arm/disarm and view clips of the camera recordings. It worked fine for a month, then the camera stopped broadcasting to my phone. It did however record clips of motion and save them to the server and allow me to view them. The clips are not of my camera's recording. They are of someone else's bedroom, viewed from above. There are several clips of nudity and sexual acts of a couple. Is there a privacy law being broken? Or is this civil issue?

Since you know that this is not your video, continued viewing could result in criminal and civil prosecution. If you recognize the "participants" you might earn them that the images are being broadcast. You still have an issue with the function of your camera system. That Is a civil issue between you and the seller.
