I have a friend that is pregnant she does not know who the father is or how to get ahold of him and She does not want to keep the baby me and my husband would like to take the baby my friend does not want her name connected to the baby at all is it okay if me and my husband put our names on the birth certificate when the baby is born?

No. I feel so sorry for this child. Your friend had no business making a baby. She should contact the state and turn the baby over to foster care.
